Hand-made Swiss Alpine cheese
The Magoth is a delicious soft cheese which is made by traditional and traditional farmers in the Swiss Alps. The Magoth cheese is entirely lactose and gluten free and is also very healthy due to a rich amount of omega-3 fatty acids!
Omega-3 fatty acids are attributed positive qualities that are associated with the prevention of cardiovascular disease, arthritis and depression. Omega 3 fatty acids lower cholesterol levels and are important for eye function and brain metabolism.
Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of polyunsaturated fatty acids. There is one fatty acid from this group, alpha-linolenic acid, which falls under the category of essential fatty acids. This means that this fatty acid can not be made by humans themselves and must be ingested via food. The oxygen-rich air in the Swiss Alps provides fresh green grass which our cows eat a lot. As a result, this cow’s milk contains a lot of linolenic acid and the Magoth cheese is rich in omega-3 fatty acids!
